2025 — Building on 2024

This form is meant for the Core Group to reflect & respond on the themes that we had discussed about in the retro at the end of 2024. The least we as a group can do is move the needle on these core learnings that we have had from the previous year to "move the needle" on them!
For each theme please rate (1–5, 5 being outstanding) how you believe we fare as of today. We'll revisit this again at the time of next quarter's planning session.

BU – Sales, CSM, Onboarding + Partnerships

Plan Better - know about your pipeline, what kind of go-live velocity you have
Know your risks – don't ignore things hoping for wishful outcomes, don't wait till the last moment
Cut losses - costs are fixed, so don't just keep investing hoping that people/deals will happen. We are a "team", not a "family"
Accountability – focus on the "outcome", not just doing your/team's work. If a supporting function is falling short, stretch/pitch but don't just be happy knowing who to blame.
Clarity & Empowerment – set clear expectations to your team to deliver and don't sugar coat things. Don't get caught up telling them what to do or doing it for them. Instead focus on ensuring they have everything to do their job!
Know your data – understand what matters to your function, what everyone else can relate to, and if it isn't available don't just wait for it to be handed to you–go get it!
